Our key people have a wealth of experience in all aspects of business and our deep knowledge of the insurance industry ensures that we continue to deliver the high standards of service expected by clients. Roger qualified as a Barrister before opting for a career as a Chartered Loss Adjuster. He qualified quickly becoming an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters in 1985 and a Fellow in 1990, his specialist subjects being Liability and Fire/Business Interruption. He worked for an international loss adjusting company handling major losses up to £10m and was also appointed Head of Fraud Investigation Services for the UK. In 2002 he formed TopMark Loss Adjusters, which now includes TopMark Claims Management and CEC.
Christine has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry working in Branch and Operational Management roles for, a successful high street chain, an independent insurance broking group and then a network group of companies. Joining CEC in 2011 provided an opportunity for change and to work in a specific area of the insurance market whilst still continuing to work extensively with brokers. Christine believes that understanding a Broker’s needs, which vary depending on their size and strategy, is key to developing successful business relationships.
Linda started her career working in the audit function for Deloitte, Haskins + Sells (now Deloitte LLP). She then joined the Civil Service where she worked for 25 years in various senior roles, latterly as Training Manager leading a large team of trainers for offices throughout Scotland and the North of England. For the last 10 years CEC has given her an opportunity to bring her career full circle by returning to her roots in finance. She has introduced rigorous systems and procedures and ensures that the back-office teams are well-trained in their roles.
